Pilar (Fernandez) Marshall, 97, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 31st, 2021. She was the wife of the late Antone Marshall.

Born in Boston, raised in Fairhaven, she was the daughter of the late Domingo and Francisca (Rojas) Fernandez.

Pilar worked at Cornell-Dubilier for 49 years. She loved dancing, playing bingo, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Frances Freitas and her husband David of Livermore Falls, ME, and Sandra Hoglund; her grandchildren, Tommy and Jason Hoglund; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her siblings, Al, Joe, Tony, Mike and Airela Fernandez, and Rose DenNuno; and her son-in-law Thomas Hoglund.

Due to COVID precautions, a private burial will take place at St. John's Cemetery.
