Rafael C. "Ray Ray" Santos, 68, of New Bedford passed away at home on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Born in New Bedford, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School. In his younger days, he was a champion Golden Gloves boxer and he participated in fencing.

He is survived by his mother, Inez S. Santos; a brother, Gilbert Andrade; a niece, LaShaan Depina; and a nephew, David Depina II.

He was predeceased by his sisters, Bernadette Depina and Christine Andrade.

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 8:30 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
