Raymond Paul Cabral, 88, of Tiverton, RI died December 11, 2013 at Kimwell Nursing Home.
Born and raised in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph E. and Belvina (Nunes) Cabral, he resided in Tiverton, RI.
He was a communicant of St. Christopher's Church in Tiverton.
Mr. Cabral was formerly employed as a Postal Clerk at the Assonet Post Office.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his daughter, Lisa B. Cabral-Lane; 2 sons, Raymond P. Cabral, Jr. and Christopher P. Naeyaert; 3 brothers, Walter A. Cabral, Edward T. Cabral and David D. Cabral; a sister, Norma Hardy; 7 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Raymond P. Cabral, III and the brother of the late Joseph Cabral and Norman Cabral.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Monday, December 16th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
