Raymond Carvalho, 72, of New Bedford died February 15, 2019 at Bedford Gardens Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late August and Doris (Lewis) Carvalho, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He was formerly employed as maintenance supervisor at the YMCA in New Bedford,
Mr. Carvalho served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed swimming and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.
Survivors include his sister, Janet Perry of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Dolores Gomes, Leslie Carvalho and Richard Carvalho.
