Raymond Dellecese, 71, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022. He was the husband of Susan E. (Sylvia) Dellecese.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Caesar and Hilda (Pacheco) Dellecese, he lived in the southcoast area his whole life.

Ray worked for Giusti Bakery for many years before opening Cape Bakery. He also worked for Ashley Ford, and Fall River Ford before starting Cottage Street Motors Inc. Ray owned and operated Cottage Street Motors with his pride and joy, Susan, for many years. He loved all animals and had many dogs, birds and ducks.

Survivors include his wife; his children, Karen Dellecese, Cindy Sylvia, Christina Sylvia, Kayla Krebs, and Lori DeSouza; his siblings, Barry Dellecese and Beverly Bennet; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

At Ray's request his funeral services will be private.
