Raymond L. Lake

Raymond L. Lake, age 94, formerly of New Bedford passed away on February 1, 2026 at Windrose at Woburn.
He was the husband of the late Jean T. (Scott) Lake.
Born in New Bedford, son of the late Lester R. and Ruth R. (Law) Lake, he lived in New Bedford most of his life before moving in with his son Daniel and family the last few years.
Ray was a member of Carpenters Union and worked mainly for Olson & Appleby, Inc.
He enjoyed traveling, dancing, gardening, Sudoku and spending time with family and friends.
Ray is survived by his 2 sons, Andrew Lake of Pennsylvania and Daniel Lake and his wife Siranush of Woburn; 5 grandchildren, Alisha, Melissa, Rebecca and her husband Andrew and twins Nicole and Sabrina; 4 great-grandchildren, Malania, Giana, Jonas and Layla.
His Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 12th at 11 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, His family will receive guests from 10:30 - 11 AM prior to his service. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery.
