Raymond C. Perry, of New Bedford died October 23, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He was the husband of Estelle Perry.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Pires) Perry, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. Perry was an excellent husband, father and grandfather.
He served in the U.S. Army stationed at West Point.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shelly Perry of New Bedford; a son, Christopher Perry, and his wife Cathy, of New Bedford; a brother, Donald "Duke" Perry, and his wife Evelyn, of Fairhaven; a grandson, Ramsay; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Roza; 3 sister-in-laws, Helen Perry, Anna Pacheco, and her husband Donald, and Dolores Malenfant; a brother-in-law, Frank Roza, and his wife Barbara; many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Joseph Perry, Jr. and Fred Perry.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Thursday, October 27th at 9 AM.
Visiting hours Wednesday, October 26th from 4-8 PM.
Interment private.
