Reginald F. Dossett, 97, of New Bedford, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023. He was the husband of the late Alice (Pryor) Dossett.

Born in New Bedford, Dossett lived in New Bedford all of his life.

Dossett had many friends and enjoyed socializing with them in the West End Social Club. He was always quick with a joke. He enjoyed dancing and having a good time.

Dossett served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. At the end of the war he married Alice and loved traveling with her.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. His burial will be private.
