Richard W. Burbank, 81, of New Bedford died April 26, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son the late Eric G. Burbank and Helen (Gidley) Burbank Howland, he lived in Dartmouth and New Bedford most of his life.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his brother, Robert Burbank and his wife Martha of Mattapoisett; a sister, Frances Nesmith and her husband Donald of South Harwich, MA.
He was the brother of the late Shirley Shepley.
His funeral arrangements will be private.
