Obituary

Richard Bradford Parker III, 31, of New Bedford died Thursday September 14, 2006 unexpectedly at home.

Born in Wareham, the son of Debra (Theberge) Pacheco and the late Richard B. Parker, he lived in Fairhaven for most of his life.

He was formerly employed as a commercial fisherman out of the Port of New Bedford.

Survivors include his mother Debra and her husband John Pacheco of Fairhaven; a daughter, Samantha Brown Parker of Westport; his siblings, Daniel and Sara Pacheco of Fairhaven, and Bradford Downey and Jaime Fitzpatrick of Florida; his grandparents, Shirley and Steve Theberge of Fairhaven, Joan and Richard Parker of Marion, and Maria Pacheco of New Bedford; and his aunts and uncles, Steve Theberge and Lisa Rahn of Oregon and Laurie and David Mendoza of East Freetown; and his close friend who was like a sister, Gina Alexander.

His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoiset. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Marion.
