Richard I. Yates, 87, of Rochester, NY died December 12, 2010 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Shirley J. Yates.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Solomon and Helen (Markowitz) Yates.
Survivors include his daughter, Roxann Parrish and his grandson Justin.
His private Funeral Service was held on Friday, December 17th in the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home For Funerals followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Disabled American Veterans P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
