Robert A. Guenette, 66, of Acushnet died Sunday, April 26, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Jean and Helen (Belliveau) Guenette, he lived in Acushnet for most of his life.

He was a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School.

Robert was formerly employed by CMHS until his retirement.

He enjoyed traveling, cooking, boating and sailing in Plymouth.

Survivors include two brothers, Donald Guenette and his wife Elaine and Rene Guenette and his wife Karen, all of Acushnet; his sister, Denise Guenette of New Bedford; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was the uncle of the late Donald Guenette, Jr.
