Robert W. Kearney, 46, of Dartmouth passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.

Born in New Bedford, son of Christopher Kearney and Marjorie (Buckles) Ursini, he grew up in New Bedford and moved to Tiverton, RI when he married. He recently moved to South Dartmouth.

Rob was a devoted father to his children and was loved by his family and friends. He was an avid football and baseball fan. Rob loved listening to music.

He worked at Mid-City steel for 10 years.

Survivors include his parents, Marjorie Ursini of Dartmouth, and Christopher Kearney and his wife Roberta of Bar Harbor; his children, Harrison and Emilia Kearney; his former wife Melissa; and his many cousins that he was very close with.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 10 AM -12:30 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, MA followed by his funeral Service at 1:30 PM at Grace Episcopal Church, 133 School St. New Bedford.
