Roger P. Fahey, 72, of Fairhaven passed away Sunday August 10, 2025 at St. Luke's Hospital peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Acushnet, the son of the late Simone (Desrosiers) Fahey and the late George Fahey, he resided in Fairhaven for the past 30 years with his loving wife and children.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was formerly employed by Acushnet Rubber Company (Precix) for 37 years.

Roger spent many years coaching recreational teams for his children. He also enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 51 years, Deborah (DeCosta) Fahey; his son, Jason Fahey and his fiancée, Marie Forgie of Springfield; his daughter, Sarah Fahey of Fairhaven; his sister, Jacqueline Fahey of Acushnet; three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Taylor, Jacob, and Bryson; his lifelong best friend, Roger Desrosiers and his wife Kathi (Medeiros) of New Bedford; and several nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and friends.

He was the brother of his late Claudette (Fahey) Siler and her husband Carl, Donald Fahey, and Jeannine (Fahey) Watts.

His memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23 at 10 AM at the Acushnet-Wesley United Methodist Church, 67 Main St., Acushnet, followed by a celebration of life. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Mattapoisett.
