Rosalind Fox

Rosalind (Costa) Fox, 87, of New Bedford died September 2, 2026 at Tobey Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Tommy C. Fox.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Bernardino and Lena (Arruda) Costa, she lived in New Bedford all of her life and was a member of Holy Name Church.

She was formerly employed by the Traffic Commission with the City of New Bedford until her retirement. Prior to that she was employed by O.V. Dress and Payne Cuttlery.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Souza and her husband Brian of New Bedford; a brother, Donald Costa of Ashville, NC; a sister, Lola Santos of New Bedford; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Fredette, Rebekah Gizzi and Madison Anderson; great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews including Deborah MacMillen.

Her Funeral Service will be private with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
