Rose Correia

Rose (Oliveira) Correia, 100, of Dartmouth died peacefully at home on July 14, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of the late Wilburn Correia.
Born and raised in Westport, daughter of the late Manuel and Marianna (Amorin) Oliveira, she lived in Dartmouth since 1959.
Rosie was formerly employed as a seam stress and she was the ticket lady at the Dartmouth Drive-In Theater.
She enjoyed cooking and her annual vacation with friends.
Survivors include her son, Wayne J. Correia and his wife Naengnoi of Dartmouth; 2 sisters, Marianna Correia of Dartmouth and Tina Bariteau of Bellingham; a step-grandson, Lucas Jullian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Manuel Oliveira, Jr., Silvana DeCosta, Mary Santos, Edward Oliveira, John Oliveira,Tessie Costa, Ida Larur and Alice Oliveira.
Her Funeral will be held on Friday, July 17th at 9:45 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at St. George Church, 12 Highland Ave. Westport at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, July 16th from 4-7 PM.
