Russell Clark, 91, of New Bedford passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024.

He was the husband of the late Nancy S. (Arnold) Clark.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Frank and Bertha (Foreman) Clark, he lived in the South End of New Bedford all his life.

He was formerly employed by New England Telephone before retiring from Verizon after many years of service.

Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He enjoyed fishing and boating.

Survivors include his 3 children, Susan Bromann of Uxbridge, Mark Clark and his wife Janis of New Bedford and Russell Clark and his wife Rachel of Cranston, RI; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Clark; 7 grandchildren, Katy Clark, Olivia Clark, Luke Bromann and his wife Kim, Veronica Reed and her husband Shane, Russell Bromann, Karissa Clark and Sophia Clark; and his great-grandchildren, Charlotte Bromann, and Logan and Marie Reed; and close family friend and confidant, Judy Hendry.

He is predeceased by his son Michael Clark.

Russell's visitation will be held Thursday, June 27th from 10-11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:45 PM.
