Ruth W. (Hall) McWeeney, 89, of Marion, formerly of Providence and Warwick, RI, died Saturday March 30, 2002 at Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion after a long illness. She was the wife of the late James F. McWeeney,and daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Stenmark) Hall.

Born in Providence, R.I., she had lived in Providence and Warwick for most of her life before moving to Marion in 1989.

Mrs. McWeeney was formerly employed as a credit analyst for the Jewelers Board of Trade in East Providence until her retirement.

Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn H. Lima of South Weymouth and a grandson, Todd C. Downing of Denver, Colorado. She was the sister of the late Joseph Hall, Gladys Schoen, and Frank Hall.

Her Graveside Service will be conducted on Thursday April 4, 2002 at 11 AM in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston, R.I. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Mattapoisett Home for Funerals, 50 County Rd., Route 6, Mattapoisett Wednesday 5-7 PM.
