Stephanie Almeida, 32, of New Bedford passed away on Thursday April 25, 2019.

Born in Providence, RI, the daughter of Estella Duarte and Jack Almeida, she lived in New Bedford for many years.

Stephanie was formerly employed at the Olive Garden in Dartmouth.

She was a member of the New Life Christian Center in Chelsea.

Stephanie enjoyed cooking. She loved music and formerly sang in her church choir.

She is survived by her mother and father; her brother, Nathan Tavares; her paternal grandparents, Lucio and Berta Almeida; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Joao and Joana Duarte.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday May 1, 2019 at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday April 30, 2019 from 4-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
