Steven R. Bennett, 50, of New Bedford passed away Tuesday January 18, 2022 peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital after he fought a courageous battle against Covid-19.

Born in Odessa, Texas, he was the son of Ray Bennett and the late Barbara (Grant) Bennett, brother of Karyn Bennett and Jeff Bennett, and father of Billie Bennett.

Steven was a dedicated employee at Brittany Global Technologies as Director of Information Technologies. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Billie.

Steven was a member of the Quittacus Lodge, A.F. & A.M. in New Bedford. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona. He served for two years in the U.S. Navy at the Administrative Support Unit in Bahrain.
