Susan M. Burke, 39, of New Bedford died peacefully on Wednesday April 30, 2008.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ronald and Arlene M. (Inman) Burke, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.

She enjoyed spending time with her son and family.

Survivors include her son, Tobey P. Burke of New Bedford; a brother, Brian Burke of Colorado; a sister, Kathleen Burke of New Bedford; her godchild, Sarah Medeiros; and nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was the sister of the late Timothy P. Burke.

Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 10, 2008 at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Beacon Hospice, 45 North Main St., Fall River, MA 02720.
