Susan A. (Senna) Pethick, 67, of New Bedford passed away Thursday April 19, 2012 after an illness at home. She was the wife of Jeffrey D. Pethick.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Almeida) Senna, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Mrs. Pethick was formerly employed as a registered nurse and certified respiratory therapist at Parkwood Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital. She was instrumental in establishing the Respiratory Department at the Brockton V.A. Hospital. She loved the Lord, her family, life-long friends, her pet dogs and lobster.
She is survived by her husband and two children, Michael Semiao and Jonathan Pethick. She was the mother of the late Christy Louro.
