Suzanne K. (Hinds) Fitzgerald, 74, of Dartmouth died Monday February 4, 2002 at home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Leo Michael Fitzgerald,and daughter of the late Dr. Francis M. and Susan E. (Clancy) Hinds.

Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in New Bedford and had lived in New England for most of her life. She was a graduate of Mount Ida Junior College.

Survivors include 2 sons, Michael D. Fitzgerald of Clearwater, FL, and Edward E. Fitzgerald of Grimesville, NC; 4 daughters, Susan Almeida and Micheala Champagne, both of New Bedford, Irene J. Bastoni of Dartmouth, and Ellen Dunn of Beverly; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.She was the mother of the late Patrick M. Fitzgerald, and sister of the late Michael F. Hinds.
