Theodore E. Leavitt, 89, of New Bedford died December 28, 2021 at home after a brief illness.
Born in Welchville, ME, son of the late Albert T. and Verna M. (Scribner) Leavitt, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He was formerly employed by Brittney Dye for over 30 years until his retirement.
He enjoyed seniors trips, the casino, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include his 2 sisters, Sharon Brady and Bonnie Desrochers, both of New Bedford; his brother, Fred Leavitt of Wareham; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Wayne Leavitt and Albert Leavitt.
His visiting hours will be held on Friday, December 31st from 3-6 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
