Theodore Gerald Murphy, 80, died August 2, 2009 unexpectedly at the Royal of Fairhaven.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Theodore A. and Rose (Flanagan) Murphy, he lived in New Bedford most of his life.
He was a principal with Murphy and Lopes Stock Brokerage Firm and also was a general manager for Sunnybrook Convenience Stores and Beatrice Foods until retirement.
Survivors include his brother, Raymond Murphy of Englewood, FL; several nieces and nephews.
He was the companion of the late Beatrice Ashley and the brother of the late Marie Bean.
Funeral from Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, August 7th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Tabor Cemetery, Acushnet. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, August 6th from 4-8 PM.
