Theresa M. "Terri" Vieira, 55, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 6, 2025 at her residence.

Born in New Bedford, Theresa was predeceased by her father, Walter G. Vieira and her mother, Patricia L. (Embleton) Vieira. She was also predeceased by her sister, Rachel F. (Vieira) Bretton, and her brother, Anthony M. Vieira. She was previously married to Kamal Najim.

Theresa was previously employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at a variety of different nursing homes in the New Bedford area.

She is survived by her son, Jordan Vieira; her siblings, William C. Vieira and his wife Christina, Mary Burgess, Patricia Vieira-Lapan, Elizabeth Finney-Vieira, and Rebecca Queen and her husband Jonathan; her half sister Norma Motta; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Her memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10 AM to Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford followed by her funeral service at 12 Noon.
