Therese Boucher, 81, of Acushnet died Friday May 2, 2008 at home.

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Ernest and Elodie (Demers) Boucher, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Acushnet 12 years ago.

Miss Boucher was formerly employed as a clerk for the New Bedford Health Department Tuberculosis Control Program for many years.

Survivors include a cousin in France and many friends in this area.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 AM at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
