Timothy Coleman

Timothy Coleman, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend, passed away suddenly on May 13, 2026, at the age of 48. He leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable memories.

Born on August 2, 1977, Timothy lived his life with a generous spirit and a genuine heart. A great cook with a true passion for food, he spent two decades dedicating his energy and incredible work ethic to his career at Riccardi's Restaurant. Following his time there, Timothy achieved a meaningful milestone by opening his own restaurant alongside his brother, John. He deeply valued the relationships he built throughout his career, including his close friendship and connection with the family and staff at Antonio's Restaurant, where he always enjoyed sitting at the bar, enjoying a Coors Light, and sharing a good conversation.

Timothy spent 22 wonderful years married to his devoted wife, Leah. He was also an incredibly proud and loving father to his daughter, Charlee, who brought immense joy to his life. His home was made even livelier by his two beloved Papillon dogs, Leonardo and Paris, who brought him endless companionship and happiness.

Timothy had a deep love for travel and adventure, with some of his most cherished memories made on trips to New York, France, California, and Costa Rica with his wife and daughter. Though he still had so much traveling left to do and many more destinations left to explore, he made the most of every journey. As a true Harley-Davidson lover, he loved the freedom of the open road and the thrill of a great ride, just as he appreciated the fine craftsmanship of his favorite Mercedes-Benz vehicles. His appreciation for speed, precision, and engineering also fueled a deep love for Formula 1 racing. An analytical thinker with a sharp mind, he also loved playing the stock market, thoroughly enjoying the strategy of analyzing trends and navigating the financial world. Whether he was cooking a wonderful meal, exploring new places, or focusing on the markets, he truly lived life to the fullest and appreciated the finer things.

Timothy’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Leah; his cherished daughter, Charlee; his mother, Joy Edgerton; his father, Clayton Coleman; his brother, John; his sister, Tracey; and the close friends who were blessed to know him.

A private Memorial Mass was held for his family. A celebration of his life will be announced in the future. Arrangements were by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
