Timothy P. Dunn, 61, of East Providence died Sunday, April 11, 2021 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in Providence, son of the late John F. Dunn and Jeanne M. (Garakop) Medeiros, he lived in Rhode Island for most of his life.

Tim was a graduate of Bristol High School and after graduation he served in the United States Coast Guard.

He had been employed for many years as a cook at Twin River Casino.

Tim enjoyed cooking and fishing with his friend Eddie, who was like a brother to him. His dry sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by two sisters, Dr. Dorothy J. Dunn of Mattapoisett and Amy J. Silvia of Acton, CA; two half-siblings, Victor Medeiros of Warren, RI and Susan Medeiros-Pollard of Fall River; three step-siblings, Julie Anania, Michael Medeiros, Sandra Hopkins; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his brother, Kevin M. Dunn.
