Timothy P. Mahoney, 56, of Pompano Beach, FL died July 14, 2010 at Holy Cross Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale after a brief illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Marion (Spencer) Mahoney and the late Dr. James H. Mahoney, he lived in Florida since 1995.

Mr. Mahoney was a graduate of Bishop Connolly High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Merrimac College in 1977 and a Master's degree in Business Adminstration from Babson College School of Management in 1979.

Survivors include his mother; his siblings, James P. Mahoney and his wife Judy of Nevada, Jane Frisch and her husband William of North Carolina, and Sheila Thompson of Dartmouth; and four nephews.

Funeral Services will be private. Arrangements are by the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
