Tracy C. (Perry) Carter, 49, of New Bedford died November 2, 2012 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of Ronelino T. Carter.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Marie Monteiro and Robert Perry, both of New Bedford, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
Mrs. Carter was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Assumption Church.
She enjoyed cooking, walking and spending time with her granddaughter. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Wampanoag Tribe.
Survivors include her parents; a daughter, Fallon Marie Fernandes of New Bedford; a brother, J.J. Morales of New Bedford; 3 sisters, Tami Perry and Janel Morales Pina, both of New Bedford and Kristine Perry of Norwich, CT; a granddaughter, Amarae Rynel Fernandes; her maternal grandmother, Anna (Marden) Monteiro of New Bedford; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the granddaughter of the late Felix Monteiro.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, November 7th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, November 6th from 4-8 PM.
