IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Trisha M.
Taber
August 30, 1970 – October 28, 2025
Trisha M. Taber, 55, formerly of New Bedford died October 28, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Sandra (Giammalvo) Taber of St. Augustine, FL and the late Dana Taber. She was a devoted mother to Lindsay Taber of Middleburgh, Florida; Alyssa Allen of Douglasville, Georgia; and Daynalynn Taber of New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Trisha was also the proud and loving "Meme" to eleven beautiful grandchildren: Logan, Chace, Oliver, Beckett, and Nora (children of Lindsay); Jaiden, Raelynn, Olivia, and Sutton (children of Alyssa); and Aliyah and Aylah (children of Daynalynn). Daynalynn and her family are also joyfully expecting twins, who will forever be part of Trisha's legacy of love.
Trisha faced a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease, the same illness that took her father's life. She lived most of her life in New Bedford, Massachusetts, until her health required her to move to Tewksbury State Hospital. There, she fought her illness with strength, grace, and dignity. Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care she received from the staff at Tewksbury.
Before her illness, Trisha worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she cared for her patients with genuine love and dedication. Her compassion, kindness, and protective spirit touched the lives of many - and in her final years, she received the same level of care and love she once gave so freely to others.
Trisha will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and all who knew her. Though she is no longer with us, we take comfort knowing she is now at peace and reunited with loved ones who went before her.
We will love you always, Trisha - our Daughter, our Mom and our Meme - forever in our hearts.
Her Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 14th at 12:45 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
