Tyler Robert Edson, 32, of New Bedford passed away Thursday March 28, 2024 after a long illness.

Born in New Bedford, the son of Keith C. and Margaret M. (Foster) Edson, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.  He was a graduate of New Bedford High School.

Tyler was employed as an assistant manager for Joann Fabrics and Crafts in Milford.

He enjoyed swimming, wrestling, and sewing.

He is survived by his parents, Keith and Margaret; his grandmother, Patricia Foster; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was the brother of the late Kaitlyn Drew Edson, and the grandson of the late Alfred Foster, Robert Edson, and Juanita Carnes.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday April 6th at 12 Noon at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 10AM-12 Noon, prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Solanus Casey Food Pantry, 238 Bonney St., New Bedford, MA 02744.
