Victor M. Acevedo, 60, of New Bedford passed away suddenly at home on Saturday May 27, 2023.

Born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Mariana Perez and Manuel Acevedo, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life. He was a graduate of New Bedford High School and UMass Dartmouth.

Victor was formerly employed as a payroll manager for the Aerovox Corporation.

He was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his siblings, Betzaida Acevedo, Sonia Acevedo, Ivelisse Acevedo, Manuel Acevedo, Jose Acevedo, and Yaritza Acevedo; and many nieces and nephews.

His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 6th at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, with visitation prior from 9:30-11 AM. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. For online condolence book, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
