Victoria M. (Vieira) Lobo, 63, of New Bedford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 4, 2025. She was the wife of the late Julio D. Lobo.

Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Antonio "Toi" and Margaret "Peggy" (Fortes) Vieira she lived in New Bedford all of her life.

Victoria had a fun loving and sassy personality but would always go out of her way to help others. She loved going to the beach, Foxwoods, playing Keno, Dominoes, Uno, and Trouble. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and watching TV shows. She will be remembered for her wonderful Cape Verdean food she would bring to every family function.

Survivors include her children, Shaylene Ferris and her husband Fabian of Brockton, Sarah Lobo and her companion Leonardo Rodriguez of New Bedford, Julio Lobo, Jr. and his companion and Joshua Lobo and his companion, and Kyle Vieira all of New Bedford; her grandchildren, Legin, Janiyah, Judah, Julius, Kyrel, Ameilia, Ney'leyana, Aaliyah, and Jahziah; and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband, parents, and sister Vanessa Vieira.

Her Funeral will be held on Monday, January 13th at 8 AM from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, followed by her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 PM.
