Violette (St. Pierre) Lapolla Rose, 89, of Seabring, FL died February 10, 2013 after a brief illness.
She was the wife of the late Vito Lapolla and Gilbert Rose.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Hormidas and Laura (Barcelou) St. Pierre, she lived in New Bedford and Fairhaven before moving to Sebring, FL 24 years ago.
Violette was formerly employed by Acushnet Process for many years until her retirement.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and trips to the casino.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Carol Pappas and her husband Daniel of Pembroke Pines, FL, Madeline Gwozdz and her husband Richard J. of Acushnet and Lynn Brown and her husband Michael of Fairhaven; her son-in-law, Leo M. Rousseau of Acushnet; 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Joyce Rousseau, grandmother of the late Stacey Gwozdz and the sister of the late Dolores Brodeur, Simonne St. Pierre and Lucien St. Pierre.
Her funeral services were private.
