Walter L. Verville

Walter L. Verville, 78, of Mattapoisett died September 2, 2026 at Tobey Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Sharon E. (Cobb) Verville.
Born in Portsmouth, NH, son of the late Theodore Verville and Mildred (Hartford) Cinfo, he lived in Mattapoisett most of his life.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 20 years and later was employed at R.A. Mitchell, Pavestone and Read Screenall.
Walter enjoyed camping, watching the New England Patriots and golf on TV.
Survivors include his 3 children, Andrea Dawn Verville, Jeff Verville and Tim Verville; 2 brothers, Leo Cinfo and Steven Cinfo; a sister, Susan Gagnon; and 2 grandchildren, Sarah Verville and Anthony Verville.
His private funeral with burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery was held on September 10th.
