Wayne R. Dupuis, 81, of Fairhaven died February 21, 2018 at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Katherine (Nanopoulos) Dupuis.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Louis E. Dupuis and Florence (Tripp) Crumley, he lived in Fairhaven most of his life.
Mr. Dupuis was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
He was formerly employed as a truck driver for United Parcel Service for 37 years until his retirement.
Mr. Dupuis enjoyed antique cars and the company of his pets.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Scott Dupuis of Fairhaven; a granddaughter, Ashley Dupuis; a great-granddaughter, Kailey Santos; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was the father of the late Lynne Ormonde and the brother of the late Paul Dupuis.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 26th at 10 AM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 186 Cross Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, February 25th from 3-7 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
